This family-oriented development consists of two- and three- bedroom townhomes divided among 8 triplex buildings. The complex includes a community room, a courtyard and common grassy area where children can play. The development also has many green features. For instance, it includes solar panels that power electric vehicle charging stations (and other shared amenities), heat pumps, drought-resistant landscaping. It was also built in a way to limit impact on the forest setting and is within easy walking distance of the Ganges village, schools, parks and transit via a trail network. Salt Spring Island Community Services has been serving the southern Gulf Islands community since 1975 through a wide range of services including housing, food security, counselling, recycling and more.
