Propolis Housing Cooperative is a new non-profit housing co-operative founded in 2020 in Kamloops to develop affordable, sustainable, and net-zero multi-family housing.  This 27-unit building includes a range from of apartment types from studios to three-bedroomsAll homes will be operated as non-profit cooperative housing. Co-op members will also benefit from a community garden spaceflexible amenity rooms and an on-site car share.  The project is being designed as a high-performance, net-zero-ready housing development that will include solar PV and climate-responsive landscape strategies that provide natural cooling and shade, helping the building remain durable and comfortable under increasing heat, smoke, and extreme weather conditions.
