Sherman Road Co‑operative Housing is a 92‑unit affordable housing development in Duncan, led by the Community Land Trust. The site was acquired from the Duncan Curling Club in 2011 by the Municipality of North Cowichan, which continues to lease part of the property back to the club for ongoing operations. A portion of the site was rezoned in 2017 to enable housing, and the project is now being developed under a long‑term land lease arrangement. It will include 34 family‑oriented townhouses and a 58‑unit apartment building, with 19 accessible homes, helping to expand affordable housing supply in the community with a focus on families and accessibility.
