This housing project replaced an aging existing 39-unit building that was constructed in 1967 with four walk-up townhome buildings and one larger apartment building increasing the total number of homes by 25. The buildings were built using passive housing design and technologies. The Greater Victoria Housing Society was founded in 1956 and is dedicated to providing affordable rental housing for low-to-moderate income families, seniors, working singles, and adults with diverse abilities who live independently.
