UNITI is the partnership of three affiliated non-profit organizations: Semiahmoo House, Peninsula Estates Housing Society, and the Semiahmoo Foundation. UNITI leveraged its assets to develop affordable rental housing, designed to fit the needs of people with intellectual disabilities. Opened in 2003, Chorus apartments provides 20 units for those with disabilities and 51 units at affordable rental to individuals of low or moderate income. This project is the first purpose-built rental apartment building in Surrey in 30 years. A follow-up development, Harmony, has been planned.
