In 2018, a heritage building in the West End was lost to a fire. The lot has been vacant since then. This project will build a 25-storey tower on this site with 136 rental homes and ground-floor community space. The project takes advantage of changes to the city’s policy around required parking spots in new developments in the West End and will provide 200 secure bike parking spaces instead. The project is close to another project the Bloom Group operates. The project contributes to additional rental supply in one of Vancouver’s most highly demanded neighbourhoods.
